Plain-language summary: We sometimes photograph or film in the studio for marketing and social media. If you don't want your child (or yourself) included, just let us know in writing before your visit — we'll keep a record and honor it every time.
1. When We Photograph or Film
Pop & Posh may take photographs or video during Open Play, classes, birthday parties, and studio events for use in:
- Our website
- Social media (Instagram, TikTok)
- Marketing materials (print or digital)
- Internal documentation of studio programming
2. Consent Model
Attendance at Pop & Posh constitutes general consent to incidental photography or video in shared studio spaces, unless you opt out in writing as described below. We do not use close-up, identifiable photos or videos of children in paid advertising without direct parental consent obtained at the time.
3. How to Opt Out
If you do not want your child, yourself, or your family to appear in any photo or video we may publish, please notify us in writing before your visit at Hello@popnposhcreations.com. We will:
- Maintain a record of your opt-out preference
- Apply it to all future visits automatically — you do not need to remind us every time
- Take reasonable care that photographers and staff are aware of opted-out families during events
You may update or withdraw your opt-out at any time by emailing us.
4. Photographing Other Families
Out of respect for every family's privacy, parents and guests may not photograph or record other people's children without their explicit consent. This applies to personal cameras, phones, and any recording device brought into the studio.
5. Removal Requests
If a photo or video of your child is published and you would like it removed, contact us at Hello@popnposhcreations.com and we will remove it from our own channels (website and social media) within 5 business days. Please note we cannot control re-shares made by third parties before removal.
6. Third-Party Event Photography
If you hire an outside photographer for a private event booked at Pop & Posh, that photographer's use of images is governed by your agreement with them, not by this policy.
7. Related Policies
This Photo & Media Policy works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Photographs and video of children are never used to identify a child by full name, and we do not knowingly publish content that could compromise a child's safety.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
